For question number 2, there will be a charge for every student who is
taking the online assessment whether it is required (when the
competencies are embedded and for those testing out) or voluntary (the
school using it as an exit exam or just wanting to assess student
mastery). The amount to be charged was not determined the last time I
was at a meeting. I'm going to another meeting about the online
assessment this Friday. I will let everyone know if the amount of the
fee is decided.

Subject: [Mo-bused] Question on Personal Finance
We are going to be offering Personal Finance as a course through Social
Studies but also are embedding the competencies into the Business
curriculum, FACS, and Ag. Our question is if anyone else is doing this
and if they are:
1. Which classes are you trying to embed the competencies into?
2. Does the assessment test cost the school to offer when you embed
the competencies?
3. Are you calling a Personal Finance class a Practical Art or
separate?
Thanks for the info. I would take any comments related to what people
are doing in terms of this class offering.
