[Mo-facs] Pro-start

Hello everyone!  I hope that we have all gotten off to a good year.  I want to invite those of you in the Kansas City Area or at least those willing to drive.  To our first Pro-start teacher networking meeting.  This isn't sponsored by that National Restaurant Association rather it is a group of teachers who are interested in getting together to share ideas in order to become better pro-start instructors.  You know how you work really hard and come up with one really cool project that you love, the kids love and it makes a big impact on your classroom.  What if each one of us shared that project with each other, then how many cool, exciting projects would you have.  Or maybe it is a great guest speaker that you have come in.  This meeting is to talk with each other and share ways to make pro-start stronger in our classrooms.  If you are just starting out and have questions please also attend you will have others to help you. 
 
The meeting will be at Oak Park High School on October 26, 2006 from 4pm - 5pm for those who can attend.  We are going to try and have 1 each quarter to discuss different topics.  This first meeting will be about Topic:  Blasting off to a good year.  You are encouraged to bring with you:  Other resources you use, name and contacts for good guest speakers, field trip ideas, syllabus, favorite projects for serve safe or Chapters 1-4 in either Year Pro-Start book.
