Although the next LifeSmarts state competition will not begin until
fall, the LifeSmarts web site is still a good classroom resource.

 

One of the resources is a new food label program. Go to
www.lifesmarts.org <http://www.lifesmarts.org/> ; What's New; Alumni
Newsletter; January issue; to the counting calories link.  This link
provides a good Nutrition Label Practice (probably better for grades
7-9) and a great glossary for all grades.
