Career Tech Expo <http://www.acteonline.org/convention/> in Las Vegas,
Dec. 13-15. This is the primo professional development event for career

designed to give you invaluable information, and ACTE is working on a
number of new ideas to help attendees get the most out of their
convention experience and bring back information and ideas that will
help them improve student success. One new addition this year is a
partnership between the National Occupational Competency Testing
Institute (NOCTI) and ACTE to present a pre-Convention conference
<http://www.acteonline.org/convention/nocti.cfm> dedicated to
assessment. This unique experience will take place on Dec. 12 at the Las
Vegas Convention Center. During this one-day event, attendees will hear
about developing and implementing a quality assessment program, be able
to network with nationally renowned experts in the field, and will
discover resources that will help educational professionals at all
levels advance their assessment program to meet emerging accountability
standards. Continue to visit the Convention

This Webcast highlights the integration of academics into CTE programs

take the application further. An on-site CTE teacher will go through the

<http://www.acteonline.org/images/ACTEnews_line.gif>
<http://iweb.acteonline.org/images/thetruth.jpg> Schools of all sizes

book will expand perspectives, challenge current beliefs, and provide a
framework from which improvements can be made. The member price is
$14.95 ($17.95 for nonmembers). 112 pages. 2006. The product code is
