This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but the Dynamic
Leadership program is based upon leadership lessons taught in class.
The information below was copied from the "Dynamic Leadership/Power of
One CD ROM."

Sample Semester FACS Leadership Course

At Cobre High School, Bayard, N.M., Alexandra Correa teaches a
semester-long leadership training course within the FACS education
program. Participating students must have already completed at least one
FACS course. Covered topics include communication skills, leadership,
goal setting, presentation techniques, citizenship, character
development, creative and critical thinking skills, and career
preparation. Course expectations include:

*	FCCLA membership (students must pay dues to participate in
out-of-class activities and trips) 
*	Committee participation 
*	One oral presentation per grading period 
*	One written report per grading period 
*	One class community project 
*	One STAR Events project 
*	Completion of all five Power of One units 
*	Use of the FCCLA Planning Process for all projects 

 

Course Outline

*	Week 1: Introduction, self-assessment, committee formation,
CHARACTER COUNTS! 
*	Week 2: Step One, FCCLA Planning Process, public speaking 
*	Week 3: Power of One, planning process use 
*	Week 4: FCCLA presentation to middle level students 
*	Week 5: Overview of Illustrated Talk STAR Event, Power of One 
*	Weeks 6-7: Parliamentary Procedure 
*	Week 8: Families First, Career Connection, Overview of Job
Interview STAR Event, Power of One 
*	Week 9: CHARACTER COUNTS! project 
*	Weeks 10-11: Career Connection, Overview of Entrepreneurship
STAR Event, Power of One, school-based business (cafe) 
*	Week 12: Overview of Applied Technology STAR Event, fundraising 
*	Weeks 13-14: Power of One, National Cluster Meeting 
*	Week 15: Public Relations "Brand FCCLA" activity 
*	Week 16: Community Service project 
*	Week 17: Review, portfolios, Power of One completion
