[Mo-facs] Cookbook Fundraiser

Hello all, 
Currently, I am toying with the idea of starting a cookbook fundraiser.  I was curious as if anyone has tried this before?  I recieved a free cookbook kit from a company advertised in Rachael Rays magazine.  I didn't know if it would be worth it or if I should try to develop my own, which I think might be more work and even more money in the long run.  Thanks!
