[Mo-facs] FCCLA Affiliation Deadline for STAR Events - Complete Chapter List

As a follow-up to Christine's reminder below, I have attached a
spreadsheet that is listed by school name for the chapters that are
affiliated.  Please check to make sure that you are on this list if you
believe you are supposed to be. Once again the postmark deadline of
December 20th is crucial. 

If you have any questions about not being on the attached spreadsheet
please contact me immediately so that arrangements can be taken care of
and the deadline can be met. I would hate for anyone to have to miss out
on the STAR Events due to a minor error.

Subject: [Mo-facs] December 20 Postmark Deadline - FCCLA Affiliation

Just a reminder that in order for members to participate in STAR Events
or run for regional, state or national office, membership dues for
Missouri chapters must be postmarked by December 20.  

 

*	Purchase orders are not accepted, the affiliation form and
member roster must be accompanied by a school check, money order, or
personal check.  We do not accept credit cards. 
*	Missouri chapters must use the Missouri Affiliation form found
at www.mofccla.org <http://www.mofccla.org/>  and pay for regional,
state, and national dues. 
*	Affiliation paperwork is mailed to Jefferson City.  If you are
mailing it to a Lock Box address, you are using the wrong form. 
*	Chapters may add additional members throughout the year, but
only those affiliated by December 20 are eligible for STAR Events or
officer elections.

 

For many schools, it takes at least a month to get a check cut through
the financial office.  You may need to initiate this process now.  New
teachers - this is especially important for you to find out.  You may
need to personally pick up the check and mail it yourself (with the
affiliation form and member roster) to be sure to meet the deadline.
Office staff may not realize the importance of the deadline or may
forget to mail the check prior to the holiday break.  It is the
advisor's responsibility to make sure the paperwork gets submitted by
the December 20 postmark deadline.

 

Again, we do not accept the purchase order itself as payment.
