FCCLA Advisors - 

 

Wednesday, February 7 will be Connie Koechner's last day working for the
Department of Elementary & Secondary Education.  She has accepted a
position in her hometown of Tipton which will allow her more time with
her family and less time on the road back and forth to Jefferson City.  

 

It is an understatement to say that Connie will be missed here in the
office!  She has been an integral part of the Family and Consumer
Sciences staff for the past 8 years and has been instrumental in helping
Missouri FCCLA improve services to chapters.   Connie was in on the
ground floor of so many services that we now just take for granted - the
Missouri FCCLA website, the state affiliation process, reports to
regional treasurers and presidents, and the establishment of the
database that allows us to look up history and current information for
all Missouri FCCLA chapters.  Her contributions will continue to benefit
the organization for some time.

 

Anyone desiring to wish her well can send her an e-mail at
connie.koechner at dese.mo.gov - please join our staff in saying goodbye,
good luck, and thank you!
