[Mo-facs] pay check

This is off of most of the topics on this list serve, however I need to find out if anyone else has experienced this.
  Three months ago the central office called me and said they owed me for something they had not been paying me for.  I didn't think twice about it so they sent me another check.
  Since then they have been paying me that same amount.
  Yesterday, when I received my check a bunch of paper work was sent with it.
  I couldn't make heads or tails out of it so I call our central office.
  Our accountant said she had over paid me the past three months and I would only be getting $750.00 per month for the next three months.
  You probably already know I was just beside myself, knowing I had plans for the summer and this just ended them.
  Do I have any recourse?  Or is it my fault for not paying closer attention.
  I am so upset, I left school early today and just am beside myself.
  My checks have been different every month due to the fact I am divided between three schools, Elem., Middle, H.S. 
  If anyone can help I would be very appreciative.
