[Mo-facs] FW: Funding for local Suicide Prevention Activities

If your school has an interest in implementing suicide prevention
activities, you may wish to read this and/or pass it along to your
counselor or nurse in your school.  It may also be something an FCCLA
chapter might be interested in as a community service, STOP the
violence, student body, or families first project.  The money could be
used to fund an educational prevention activity (flyers, posters,
speaker at an event, etc.).  

 

There are two funding times - summer 07 and the 07-08 school year.

There is still time to apply for a Summer 2007 award to fund local
suicide prevention activities.  (The deadline is May 31, 2007.)  The
application process is short and simple.  For more information, go to:

All interested parties are strongly encouraged to apply.  Please feel
free to share this announcement with others.

 

Proposals are also being accepted for 2007-2008 awards.  [Please note:
The original announcement stated that the deadline for these proposal
