[Mo-facs] Incredible Professional Development Opportunity - June 22

The National State Teachers of the Year Conference will be held in Kansas City, June 21-25.  We plan to open to the public a Practitioner's Conference on June 22 at Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas. (2030 E. College Way)  The theme is "The Power to Make a Difference" and an incredible program is planned for the day.
   
  The program is as follows:
  8:00-9:00 AM     Registration and Continental Breakfast
  9:00-9:45 AM     Keynote Address by Andrea Peterson, 2007 National Teacher of the Year 
  from Washington state -- an amazing music educator
  9:45-10:00 AM    Break
  10:00-11:45 AM  Keynote Address by Sandra Roberts and a student from Tennessee -- Paper Clips Project.  (Holocaust reflection community project -- Featured in books, movies and on The Today Show and HBO.)
  11:45-12:30 PM   Lunch
  12:30-1:30 PM    Concurrent Session #1
  1:45-2:45 PM      Concurrent Session #2
  2:45-3:00 PM      Conclusion and Wrap-up
   
  All of this -- including breakfast and lunch -- for $15.00!!!!  This is an amazing professional development once-in-a-lifetime event that you don't want to miss!!!
