FCCLA activities for the 2007-08 school year are:
*Officers' training meeting at Tipton High School on Sept. 19 at 3:30 p.m. Kim Shields, former state Pres. will be our speaker. Please park on the east side of the high school or in the circle drive because we have another event going on and also construction. Enter at the main high school office.
We will be collecting money for phone cards for our service men and women.
*ACCESS conference will be held at Tan Tar A on Oct 21-22. There are three Conferences to choice from. For more information check the DESE website.
*Regional meeting will be Nov.8 at Belle High School. I'm not sure of the time but more information will follow.
*Region 13 will be going to the Denver Cluster meeting. Bus arrangements are now being finalized. We are planning on leaving in the evening on Nov. 15 and driving all night. We will be touring the Molly Brown House on Friday along with either the Capitol or the U.S. Mint. We will leave on Saturday before the social event and drive all night and return on Sunday. You will only have one night for the hotel room. The bus ticket cost is looking like it will be about $130 per ticket if we fill the bus. I will have 94 seats. More information will follow...
*Regional elections are at Versailles on Jan 28th, 2008 at 3:30.
*Regional STAR events are Feb. 4 at Pilot Grove at 3:30.
*Regional Installation is in March at Belle
*State Leadership conference is March 31-April 1st in Columbia
Kelly Comstock, State Vice-Pres. and Faith Stonner, National Network Member are available to come to your chapter activities if you desire. Just give us a call and they would love to put on a presentation for your chapter.
