Subject: [Mo-facs] Child Development

I am a first year FACS teacher and I am looking for some ideas for my child development course. I want to create a unit that allows the students to see the inter-workings of a preschool (developing activities for children, making nutritious snacks, observing children, etc). I would like to have the students actually put their activities into practice by going into a preschool or day care. I was wondering if anyone does anything similar to this in their class and could give me some ideas. Thanks for all your help!!
