Our school purchased a demonstration table with a mirror from NASCO. Their number is 1-800-558-9595. The demonstration table is Maple construction with a natural finish. The table size is 30"W x 72"Lx30"H with 2 drawers. When we purchased it the price was $1,074.10 with shipping cost of $100.00. The table is good quality we just wish it was taller. We sit to do our demonstrations.
I hope this helps.

I am needing to purchase a new Demonstration Table for my classroom. I am wondering if anyone who has recently puchased a table could tell me what was purchased and what is the qualty of the table. Also, I teach several large sections of Foods classes and am considering mounting a camera to the table to send to my LCD projector for better viewing by my students. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would like to know the opinions of teachers regarding the inclusion of a sink and/or range on the demonstration table.

Thank you,

FCCLA encourages you to promote and participate Monday, September 24,
2007 in Family Day - A Day to Eat Dinner With Your Children. Family Day
is sponsoring The Family Table - Share More Than Meals; a multi-media
campaign that promotes the benefits of family dining and making time to
reconnect with loved ones over a meal. It's not just about eating; it's
about sharing your day, playing games, and spending time together. Take
the Family Day Challenge by completing a survey, located on the Family
Table Web site. The survey, which was previously given to other
families, will help you see how your family compares with other
families. Send photos of your family via email to
FamilyTable at tvland.com and tune in on September 24, 2007 on TV Land
between 6-7 PM (ET/PT) to catch a glimpse of you and your family.
Spread the word to local chapters, friends, and local communities!

With the family as the central focus of our organization, we need to
make sure all of our FCCLA members are at "The Family Table" and
supporting this event.
