[Technic] Slow Gateway Orders

I recently canceled 40 laptops that were XP because they couldn't get them to me in the two months that we had before school started again.  I ordered two tablets from them with XP as well and it took close to 2 1/2 months to get those.  I still have not received the docking stations for them and it has been close to 3 1/2 months now, so I guess it doesn't matter what you order, they are just slow.

As a side note, when I canceled my order, my trusty CDWG rep had me 40 Sony laptops in less than 24 hours.  I don't know why I keep trying other vendors.

Anyone else have major delays with their Gateway computer orders???

Wonder if Vista is causing the delays...

They called me yesterday and said that they were upgrading the motherboard at no
extra cost which has an intel nic and blah, blah, blah, and we are sorry it is taking so
long...were upgrading you so maybe they will move faster... WHAT ?!?!?!

Did I hear correctly a few months ago that they had build a new facility or
something??? I'm about to come to the conclusion that Vista is causing them
problems...I ordered these with Vista License but of course I will downgrade them to
XP when they get here....IF THEY EVER DO GET HERE!!!

Whooooow... Okay, I can go back to work now... :-)
