We dropped the service mid-stream and did not complete a web site mainly due to our time restraints but I did find the software hard to learn or it seemed at the time.  Their support and training teams were great.  I loved the home page we designed.  My problem though, I would take a lesson, then weeks would go by until I could get to it again, so it was difficult to always pick up the pieces and would have to relearn, taking one step backwards and (maybe) two forward. Hopefully you will have someone who can devote a lot of time to the project initially which, I think, makes or breaks a hosting package.

PS.  We have gone with a company called www.schooldesk.net which should be completed within the next week or so.  Go to 
http://steelville.schooldesk.net which is our test site while ours is being completed on a dedicated server for us.  Each school gets its own server. 
I love all of the added features along with free email for staff and students.  You can log into the test site as tester with p/w 12345678 to see the different features and  modules.  They have a feature that was just demonstrated to me as it was new at the time, so I am really excited on getting to play with it soon to use for our HS students, called virtual desks, that are private to each student that can be accessed from home or school using our licensed software put on our hosted server since it is basically our server (in legal terms). Staff will have access to the vd's to access homework, etc.  Therefore, students will not be able to get to each other's work.  This solved the problem of setting up individual logins with roaming profiles in our Server 2003.  This will be a pilot year for us with all of these new features, so I'm waiting with abated breath to start using all of this.
