Wine Tasting:

Wednesday, December 20, 2006, 7:30 - 9:30 pm 
In spirit of the holiday season, our December tasting will offer over 20
wines, including wines that sparkle, and big, fruity, tannic and hedonistic
red wines that are truly befitting of the title: Big Reds. A few of the
sparkling wines to be sampled at the tasting will include: Champagne,
Prosecco, Cava, and California Sparkling Wines. 

 

Some of the Big Reds will include: Cabernet and Cabernet blends, Petite
Sirah, Shiraz & Syrah, Malbec, Nebbiolo, and Sangiovese, 

and many more...

 

Those attending will also enjoy gourmet appetizers complimenting the wines
selected for the evening's tasting.

This event is open to everyone. No reservations are required. Admission for
this event is $20.

Javier Mendoza

Singer, songwriter, and percussive acoustic guitarist Javier Mendoza blends
his Spanish roots and his classic and modern rock influences to deliver a
unique transnational sound that will reach your soul and get you up and
groovin'.

 

Friday, December 22

Kara Baldus Trio

The combination of Keyboardist Kara Baldus and Drummer Miles Vandiver form
perhaps one of the most impressive jazz trios in town.  Both products of the
SIUE jazz department, Kara and Miles have played with a number of nationally
recognized performers, and provide the backbone of Bassist Tom Kennedy's
band in his latest release: Suede Shoes.

Stuart Johnson

An eclectic finger style guitarist who style encompasses blues, jazz, and
soul music.
