VOLUNTEER TEACHERS NEEDED
 

The Immigrant & Refugee Women's Program is in need of women volunteers to teach basic English to immigrant and refugee women in the security of their own homes. Most of the students are located in South St. Louis City and some in South County.  

(No experience necessary; we provide ongoing training/supervision of volunteers.)

 

Needed:  Sensitivity to cultural differences, desire to empower women, your own transportation, time for two sessions/week of one hour each at your convenience.

Rewards:  A unique experience of another culture; the ability to improve the status of women.
