[TGE-mail] Question About Auto Theft in Soulard

Hi
Early this Christmas eve morning, we had our second car stolen from in 
front of our house on Menard St.  Making this a very merry Chirstmas 
indeed...
We had our first car stolen from the exact same spot, about a month ago, 
early thanksgiving morning.  My question to the list is, is car theft 
this common in Soulard?  What can the residents do to increase police 
patrols?  For those that have had cars stolen, were they recovered, and 
if so, how quickly?  This is extremely frustrating, as none of our 
neighbors have had similar experiences, both cars had fairly expensive 
alarms, and we are not sure what our next step should be in order to 
stop this from happening again.
