[TGE-mail] Donations for the police substation.

Hi all,

At last week's neighborhood association meeting, we raised $30 from the
50/50 drawing.  We will be using that money to buy snacks and sundries for
the officers at the substation.  Also, the kind residents of our
neighborhood have donated a microwave, a television, and other appliances
and furnishings.  What we really need now is a small refrigerator and
some comfortable furniture.  So if anyone is looking at throwing out one of
those items, please consider donating to your local police substation.  The
cozier we make it, the more time the officers will spend there.  The more
time the officers spend there, the less time that the thugs and crooks will
spend in our neighborhood.
