[TGE-mail] Special Taxing District - Straw Poll Results

Dear Neighbors - 

I am attaching, fyi, a "fact sheet" on the Special Taxing District proposal for TGE, which was distributed at last Thursday's TGENA general membership meeting.  We also took a straw poll at the meeting, the results of which were:  17 in favor of the special taxing district, 8 opposed and 1 undecided.

We will be discussing the idea at the TGENA board meeting this Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 7:00 p.m., at the Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal St.  The meeting is open to all TGE residents.  You are also welcome to send me, prior to Wednesday's meeting, a statement either supporting, opposing, or asking questions about the proposal.  Thank you. 

Also, a reminder that we are looking for individuals willing to serve as president-elect and secretary of TGE.  Our annual officer elections will occur at the Oct. 26th general membership meeting. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact me.
