Dear Valued Community Members,
 
We are beginning to plan for National Community Education Week, and we need your help!
 
Many exciting events are in the works that are designed to highlight what the St. Louis Community Education Program is all about, supporting academic achievement and building strong communities.  The events schedule is as follows:
 
Sunday        November 12    Showcase Celebration and Commemorative Ad Book 
                                          City-Wide CEC Students Ambassadors' Announcement
 
Monday        November 13    Media Event
 
Tuesday       November 14    Open House at Community Education Centers    
                                          National Community Education Day
 
Wednesday  November 15    Media Event
 
Thursday      November 16    New Council Member Orientation
 
Friday          November 17    Board of Aldermen Event and CE Student Ambassador Recognition
 
 
We will need assistance in 

*	

	soliciting ads for the Commemorative Ad Book for the Showcase Celebration (each center raises a minimum of $350 over that 50% profits go to youth programming)
*	

	planning the open house
*	

	volunteers for the open house
*	

	attending new council member orientation
*	

	appointing student ambassadors
