 HOWL-O-WEEN POOCH PROWL PARADE

PRESENTED BY Grand South Grand.

 

 

Grand South Grand 2nd Annual Howl-o-ween Pooch Prowl Parade will be October
28, 2006 from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. on South Grand Blvd. Registration will be
from 9:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. in the vacant lot behind Commerce Bank 3134
South Grand Blvd. The cost to participate in the parade is a $1 per paw. 

 

Dogs participating in the parade will compete for best costume in the
following categories:  cutest, scariest, most original, best look-a-like
(human owner), and best international. 

 

Following the parade LIVE performance by Sue Kennedy from Kennedy
Entertainment and local youth in the community will sing and perform in the
vacant lot behind Commerce Bank. The winners for the best costume categories
will be announced after the performance.

 

Participating businesses on South Grand will offer treats for pets and
people who participated in the parade until 3 p.m.

 

All contributions for the parade will go to Support Dogs Inc. a St. Louis
based non-profit agency that helps people with special needs achieve an
improved quality of life through the use of assistance dogs. This is a
community event and everyone is welcome to join in the fun!
