We are proud to welcome Alto Saxophonist / Flutist / Pianist Loren Pickford
( <http://www.lorenpickford.com/> www.lorenpickford.com) this evening at
Erato Wine Bar.  Pickford is Kansas City native, who has become a prominent
fixture of the New Orleans jazz scene during his 15 years residence prior to
Hurricane Katrina.  Pickford has played with the likes of blues and soul
ballad legends like Jackie Wilson, Ray Charles, and T-Bone Walker, and as a
side man for such jazz artists as Chet Baker, Shorty Rogers, Frank Rossolino
in addition to many others.  

 

On Saturday evening, we will be hosting The Josh Costello Trio. A St. Louis
native, Josh Costello is a 2006 graduate of Webster University with a
Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance-Percussion. He studied privately with
Kevin Gianino. He is an active free-lance performer, appearing with The
Early Review Band.
