[TGE-mail] Candidate forum & TGE meetings

In response to an earlier posting - Patrick Moore, our current president, has a "Candidate Forum" planned for our Feb. 22, 2007 Tower Grove East Neighborhood Association general membership meeting.  The forum will be moderated by Dave Drebes of the Arch City Chronicle, and speakers will include the three candidates for Sixth Ward Alderman and the two candidates for President of the Board of Aldermen.  The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Academy, 3401 Arsenal (enter through the rear courtyard off Louisiana St.).  

Other reminders - 

TGE Community Garden meeting this evening - 7:00 p.m., 2355  Louisiana, RSVP  to 773.6111 (Bev O'Neal).  Bev has some new ideas and new energy lined up for our TGE Community Garden, which is located at Sidney & Virginia.

January 25, 2007, 7:30 p.m. TGENA general membership meeting, scheduled speaker is Terry Houston, Principal of Roosevelt High School.

February 7 - TGENA board meeting, 7:00 p.m., Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal.

February 8 - Weed & Seed South Cluster Meeting - the "graduated" South Cluster Neighborhoods, including TGE, will meet at 6:00 p.m. at the Five Star Senior Center.  The meeting is followed by the Third District SLMPD Public Affairs meeting at 7:30.   (Weed & Seed will continue to meet on the Second Thursday of every month, bring your crime and nuisance issues to discuss.)

April 21 & 22 - Grand South Grand House Tour - mark your calendar.
