The Metropolitan Police Department will give St. Louis City residents
the
opportunity to purchase the anti-theft device for $10.00 (clubs for
larger
trucks/SUV for $15.00.)  The "Club", a highly successful anti-theft
device,
which normally retails for $40.00, has been shown to deter car theft.
Residents may purchase the "Club" on Saturday, January 27, 2007 from
9:00
a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Police Substation at 11th and Barton.
Residents
must show proof of city residency.

All funds from the sale of the anti-theft device will be reinvested to
purchase more "Clubs".
