Erin Bode
Tuesday - 1/30/07 - 8-10 pm
Website: <http://www.erinbode.com> www.erinbode.com
Vocalist Erin Bode (pronounced BOH-DEE) has a beautiful, crystal clear voice
that is too exquisite to miss. She has consistently won over audiences with
her sweet personality and sincere performances. Her distinctive repertoire
and crossover appeal - evoking comparisons to Eva Cassidy and Norah Jones -
have proven equally at home in grand venues or relaxed clubs.
The Erin Bode Group have performed nationwide at venues such as Blues Alley
in Washington D.C., Zanzibar Blue in Philadelphia, and at Sweet Rhythm in
New York. They have also been in Europe twice, touring in Italy.
In late 2006, they traveled to South Africa to work with the Themba Girls'
School Choir. Most recently, Erin performed with Garrison Keillor on A
Prairie Home Companion at the Fabulous Fox.

Todd Mosby
Thursday - 2/1/07 - 8:30pm
Website: <http://www.mosbygroup.com> www.mosbygroup.com
Mosby creates a brand of fusion which is palatable to traditional and
contemporary jazz fans as well as traditional fans of classical north Indian
music. Ustadt Imrat Khan calls it Indian Jazz. He is one of a few musicians
in America to have a solid improvisational background in Traditional Jazz,
Classical North Indian Rag and Contemporary Classical Composition with
massive music performance and composition experience from the world of
dance, theater, film and concert stage. Living in Missouri most of my life,
many of the song titles and music reflect special places in the state of
Missouri. Musical Influences on guitar include Imrat Khan, Wes Montgomery,
Pat Martino, John McLaughlin.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Vincent started playing music early on, taking
lessons on piano, clarinet, and organ. He began playing guitar at age 16 and
attended college at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, where he
had the opportunity to perform with jazz greats such as Michael Brecker,
Peter Erskine, and Dan Gottlieb. He graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor's
degree in Jazz Performance. Varvel began his professional career while in
college, freelancing with many different performers in the St. Louis area.
Artists he has worked with recently include Peter Mayer, Sarah Cloud,
Autumn's Child featuring Mark Holland, Erin Bode, and Dan Rubright. He has
two albums to his credit, Pictures and Postcards and ...Not A Creature Was
Stirring... and is currently teaching jazz guitar at Washington University
in St. Louis.

Dave Stone has been named "Best Jazz Artist of the Year" by the Riverfront
Times in St. Louis 5 out of 6 times from 2000 to 2005. Born in Great
Britain, Dave moved around quite a bit and learned to play several musical
instruments before settling on tenor sax in St. Louis for college.
Post-grad, he played with Joe Charles Thompson and Jimmy Sherrod. Since
then, he has played steadily as the leader of his own trio, at such places
as The Delmar, and Mangia for long-running stints.
