Yesterday I found a golden retriever.  He was emaciated and very  dehydrated and wandering around near Shenandoah School.  He had a  faded blue collar, vet tags, and a tag with an illegible phone number  and no name.  He had recently been shaved for the summer.  I  took him to the emergency animal emergency clinic on Big Bend at 44,  the only place I could find that was open on Sunday.  They said  they would keep him and get him re-hydrated and then try to track down  the owner today through his rabies tags.  If anybody knows this  dog, call the Animal Emergency Clinic at 314-822-7600.
