Hi there -

Welcome to TGE!

For art opportunities, try SCOSAG (South City Open Studio and Gallery) 
located right in the center of Tower Grove Park.  Jenna Bauer, founder, is 
energetic and a terrific artist herself, and offers a variety of programs 
all year long.

Also in Tower Grove Park right now is a series of Wednesday free concerts 
geared towards children at Piper Palm House.  They start at 9: 30 am and run 
about an hour, every Wedneday (except next) through August.  We went last 
week (with my 2 year old, who enjoyed it), but the kiddos next to me were in 
elementary school and seemed to love it too.

On theatre, Stray Dog Theatre just opened up in the neighborhood - don't 
know the details - but they made a presentation at the last TGE neighborhood 
association meeting and were planning youth programming.  You might google 
it.

Lastly, the YMCA on Sublette offers a variety of sports programs all year 
long and is a great family and community place.  It can be pricey, but they 
also offer scholarships.
