[TGE-mail] South Grand parking lot

I strongly agree with Andrew Weil and the others who have protested the idea 
of a parking lot directly along the South Grand commercial district.  This is 
a lovely, attractive area for foot traffic and a big ugly bare space (i.e., 
the parking lot) would just spoil the ambience and interrupt the mood. A large 
part of the charm of an urban business area like South Grand is due to the 
notable absence of such sterile auto-accomodation.  If folks can't manage to walk 
150 feet to their cars, perhaps another business could be installed:  a 
shuttle bus.
