  FYI!
   
  I, along with other legislators, have filed legislation in recent years to do exactly that, but the MHP consistently opposes stickers inside the windows and their efforts prevail!!
   
  We will continue to fight the issue. Please consider contacting the MHP and expressing your views!

Cities in CT had the same problem until enough residents complained about the plate clipping and stolen plates. Now, the stickers are inside the windows. The new stickers disintegrate if someone tries to scrape them off the inside of the window, making it pointless to try and steal the sticker. New York stickers are also on the inside of the window.

[TGE-mail] Stolen Plates          
Hello everyone; 
Last night I heard loud disturbance outside my home. I peeked out the window instead of going outside as it was about 3 am. This morning my husband discovered both my ( newly renewed! ) licence plates were gone. My neighbor's car window was broken- but it turns out her own husband did that. ??? Anyway, I wanted to share this info. Next time you hear something going on, really check it out, take it from me. We bought our home three years ago, and this is the first crime that has affected us. If anyone saw anything or had anything happen to them last night, please pass it along, it will be much appreciated.
