[TGE-mail] Anyone experience backup from maindrain during storm?

Neighbors:

 

I noticed as I was doing laundry today that water had somehow come into my
basement last night. No signs of it entering from the exterior of the house.
Only things in the middle of the room were soaked.

 

Being new to the neighborhood, wondered if anyone else experienced this last
night? Is it a problem with MSD? Does it happen during only heavy rain? Were
the mains at capacity? 

 

I've been here since October and this is the first time I've had this issue.
