Once again AmeriCorps St. Louis is joining the St.
Louis Health Department in organizing the VECTOR
program this summer. In the past Tower Grove East has
been extremely supportive in this endeavor by
volunteer residents taking part in distributing the
larvicide into the storm drains. This is a huge
project and your involvement is greatly needed and
appreciated. 

An AmeriCorps member will be available with
information and supplies at the next scheduled meeting
on May 24th. The kickoff date for the project is the
14th and lasts for two months so that will be plenty
of time for Tower Grove East to get involved. 

The larvicide helps to eradicate the larva of
mosquitoes and therefore aids in eliminating the
threat of West Nile. Please contact the office for any
further questions.
