Hi!

  My name is Buddy and I'm looking for a new home.  I love people and other dogs!

  Here's my story:
  I live in Tower Grove East with my current furdad.  But he is married to a women who hates and fears animals.  My dad got me when I was 2 months old in hopes that his toddler human son would come to love animals.  Unfortunately, I love him and the other humans in my family but my dad's wife still won't accept me.  She's told my dad she wants me out so she can have the back yard to herself without me.  Sigh...

  I don't understand because I've always been loving and faithful to them.  I don't bark except when something happens like thunder and I'm afraid because they've kept me by myself in the yard.  I love other dogs and love to play with them.  I never run away.  Even when my fence door fell open, I sat on the front porch until my furdad came home.

  I watch the dogs next door and would love to be able to go inside at night like they do.  I would be the best dog in the world for the person who loves me enough to make me part of their world and home and family!  I would, I promise!

  Joy says I'm VERY smart!  I understand everything she says to me.  Every time she shows me a new lesson or trick I learn it in one try!  I really, really want to show my special person how much I can do for them and love them!

  If you think I could be YOUR special dog, please call Joy ASAP at 314-771-6364!  She says I only have a few days to find a new home before my current guardian might take me back to the shelter.  Please don't let that happen!  I'll be the bestest boy in the world for someone.

  Joy's note -- Buddy is indeed the bestest boy in the world.  If I didn't have Sol (my boy) I would keep him in my pack.

  Buddy is fixed, about 85 pounds, is current on all his shots, current on his heartworm medication and has the softest coat.  He loves hugs and pets. He's 14 months old.
