[TGE-mail] Block Captain/Resident Alert - Neighborhood Watch Trainings

Dear Neighbors & Block Captains - Just a reminder that the Neighborhood Watch trainings for the North East portion of TGE start this Wednesday, May 16th, at the TGE Police Substation at 2901 Sidney, 7:00 p.m.  Light refreshments will be served.  The flyer (which was distributed at the TGENA meeting on April 26th) is pasted in below.  These meetings are open to all residents and block captains in the part of TGE bounded by Shenandoah to Arsenal, Compton to Nebraska.  We have divided the area into sections, but if you cannot attend one meeting, please feel free to attend another. There are three dates, May 16, May 22 and June 9 (a Saturday).  Block Captains - no need to distribute the flyer on your block, that is already being done.

Saturday, June 9, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. 
 
Location:  TGE Police Substation at Sidney & Nebraska

Purpose:  
1.  Show a presence of concerned residents and police.
2.  Train residents about the City’s nuisance property process and police procedures.
3.  Strengthen the TGENA block captain system and recruit block captains for blocks that do not have them.
