Sorry for the short notice I have been out of town but this is great
information for you and your neighborhoods.  If any of you are interested we
can talk to your neighborhood at a later date!

OF ST. LOUIS PUBLIC SCHOOL'S FIRST

NO IDLING ZONE

Did You KNOW: 

o       Over 990 school buses run in St. Louis City; and the 21,900 children
who ride them average 90 minutes per school day on a bus?

o       Diesel school bus exhaust has been linked to cancer, asthma,
allergies and cause serious health problems for children and reduce
alertness and learning capacity? 

o       Children's lungs are still developing and breathe 50% more air per
pound of body weight than adults? 

No Idling Zones should be installed wherever children play and are regularly
picked up or dropped off to create areas where healthier air can be inhaled!
