Erato Wine Bar is pleased to announce the following May and early June Wine
and Beer Events:

 

Wednesday, May 23 

Amizetta Wine Tasting

6:30 - 9:00 pm

Join us along with Bodi Wines and musician Spencer Clark where we will be
hosting a tasting featuring the wines of Amizetta Vineyards.  Amizetta
Vineyard wines represent the latest project of Napa Valley's under-the-radar
cult winemaker Bob Egelhoff, once winemaker for such higly regarded Napa
Valley wineries as Merryvale, Chappellet, and Pahlmeyer wineries, just to
name a few.   Our tasting will offer the following selections:

ROCK 'N RED 
60% Cabernet Sauvignon 40% Merlot 
Aromas of fresh picked berries, wild cherry, blackberry and hints of
currant. Comes across with a full texture yet smooth palate. Flavors of
blackberries and cherries abound in this fruit forward wine. Hints of sweet
oak and toast transfer into a melodic blend of serious Rock 'N Red wine.
Playable now to 2014. 

ROCK 'N WHITE 
70% Sauvignon Blanc 30% Chardonnay 
Floral Bouquet combining sweet melons and honeysuckle giving way to crisp
light grapefruit hints with touches of oak flavors that meld into a smooth
elegant old world style finish. Drink now thru 2010

*	2003 Complexity (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc
Blend) 
*	2002 Complexity (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc

Join Aaron Whalen, of Missouri Beverage Distributing, and the official Erato
Wine Bar beer tasting crew for an evening of wheat and barley that is sure
to knock your hops off!  This tasting will cover a diversity of beer styles
and origins, including Belgian Trappist Ales, German Wheats, European lagers
and the latest American microbrews.
