[TGE-mail] Reminder - Special Block Captain & Resident meeting May 22

This is a reminder that the second of our special meetings with the police, for part of the 6th Ward part of TGE, is scheduled for tomorrow night, Tuesday, May 22nd, 7:00 p.m., at the TGE Police Substation at 2901 Sidney. The block numbers are listed below, along with phone numbers for more info. The third meeting will be held on Saturday, June 9th at 10:00 a.m. at the substation.  The flyer for the meetings is pasted in below.  Thanks! (Also - don't forget the TGENA general membership meeting this Thursday, May 24th, 7:30 p.m., St. Elizabeth Academy, 3401 Arsenal, enter through the rear courtyard off Louisiana Street.  The theme for the meeting is TGE Goes Green.  Childcare is provided.)

Purpose:  
1.  Show a presence of concerned residents and police.
2.  Train residents about the City’s nuisance property process and police procedures.
3.  Strengthen the TGENA block captain system and recruit block captains for blocks that do not have them.
