Cornerstone Center for Early Learning provides
full-day, year-around preschool education and child
care in the Shaw Neighborhood. The Center is
expanding, and will soon be accepting additional
students two through five years of age. Spaces will
be available in early December.
Parents must work or attend school full-time in order
to enroll their children at Cornerstone. Tuition is
based on household size, income, and the age of the
student.
Since 1969, Cornerstone Center has been providing
quality service to the community. A United Way
agency, Cornerstone is an acknowledge leader in early
education. In honor of our commitment to students
with special needs, Cornerstone received the 2006
Stellar Performer award for our field from Variety
the Childrens Charity of St. Louis. In 2007, the St.
Louis County YWCA Head Start named our program its
Outstanding Partnership. Most recently, Cornerstone
was one of only eight recipients statewide to be
awarded a Missouri Preschool Project grant, and one of
eleven selected for a Missouri Infant/Toddler
Expansion grant.
Families seeking a licensed, accredited program for
their preschool children may call 314-865-5244 for
further information.
