Garbage Disposal - Bill Moore 607-4044; figure about $60 for install
 
Garage door opener: If it's an older door, without the sensors at the base of the door, it will be cheaper to have Home Depot install a brand new one. Trust me, I just went through this. I had a malfunctioning door at one of my 2-family buildings that's rented. Overhead Door company wanted $85 just to look, and $385 for the install, not including the door. That's highway robbery.

Me again, your new neighbor in TGE asking for advice. Geez, owning a home is fantastic! So we are looking for a reliable handy-man/woman or electrician to help with two jobs in our home. We want to have a garbage disposal installed and have someone take a look at our garage door opener, etc. If anyone uses someone and could recommend them, I would really, really appreciate it.
