[TGE-mail] Roosevelt Homecoming --Come to the Game, Help Out With the Fun!

    Roosevelt 's Homecoming is this Saturday, Ocotober 20, and we're looking for volunteers.  The game starts at 1:30, and we hope to see lots of people from the community there.  The Rough Riders (who are 5 and 2) will be playing McCluer North.  It should be an exciting game.


       


      The folks at the school have some awesome activities planned and just need a little help with set-up and serving.  We're looking for people to:


       


      1.  Help serve the football players breakfast.  You'll need to arrive at the school about 8:30 and plan on being there til about 10:30.


       


      2.  Set up, serve, and clean up for the tailgate party prior to the game.  You'll need to arrive about 10:15 and plan on staying until about 1:15.


       


      3.  Serve cake and punch at the dance.  The dance will be held at the former Southwest High School at the corner of Kingshighway and Arsenal. You'll need to arrive about 7:20 and plan on being there until about 9:30. (Or until the cake is gone!)


       


      Lots of great opportunties to get involved and lots of opportunity to have a great time!  Please email me if you'd like to help or if you have any questions.  The kids so appreciate all that we do for them, so we hope you can find room in your schedule to either volunteer or attend the game.
