[TGE-mail] Shoes on Phone Lines

Mystery solved!  My neighbor had thrown out some shoes and, apparently
the neighborhood kids dug them out of the dumpster and threw them around the wires
(I highly doubt that the average drug dealer is scrounging in dumpsters looking for
shoes...this also tells me we desperately need more for kids to do in our
neighborhood).

Thanks to all of you who helped and provided some
interesting suggestions.
