Relative to the earlier message wherein a white male was wanted for a
robbery in the SW Garden Neighborhood, a witness has been found who
indicates that the suspect is a Hispanic male about 30-35 years of age
with a thin mustache, sideburns, and a  fairly overall dirty appearance.
At the time of the robbery he was wearing a dirty white or light gray
colored t-shirt, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap.  He did speak
English to the victim he robbed.


Again, this man severely assaulted the 85 year old victim with a tree
branch before robbing him and stealing his car.  Prior to this, the
suspect chased a female jogger in the same area.  The elderly victim's
car was recovered in the 3000 block of Indiana, so the suspect probably
frequents that area or somewhere nearby.  

 

I have a computer generated  composite of the suspect that I would like
distributed, but I can't post attachments to many of your listserves.  

 

If you think you may know who this person is or know of a person
similarly described, let me know so they can be investigated.

 

Any help is appreciated.

I cannot send attachments to your listserves, but if you think you might
know the following suspect by his bike, let me know and I'll email you a
picture of the bike.  The bike is a purple Roadmaster "Mt. Climber" bike
with a red front fork and handlebars.  The chain guard and wiring are a
sky blue color.

 

The South Patrol Bureau is investigating a Robbery 1st from the 2000
block of Alfred on 09-26-07 at approximately 0840 hours (8:40am). The
elderly male victim was severely bludgeoned with a tree branch and
robbed of his vehicle. Taken was a:

 

-2005 Silver Buick LeSabre 4-door

 

The suspect is described as a thin white male, approximately 25 years
old with short dark hair. He initially encountered the victim while
riding a distinct bicycle (see attached photos) however, abandoned it at
the scene. 

 

The man's car was recovered in the 3000 block of Indiana.
