Remember this one? Great mix of Live Action and Animation that makes for a
pretty good combination for a movie, good for the whole family-and if you
are my age you probably saw this one as kid. The next movie to cross over
Live Action and Animation was Cool World with our show me state brother Brad
Pitt in 1992. Not as good. Hence, why you won't see that one this summer.

Something about upright standing, singing chipmunks frightens me. But who
can hate Alvin, Simon and Theodore? This is another movie I haven't seen yet
and look forward to seeing for the first time on the big screen at lovely
Westport Plaza.

This is the third year I have been doing movie nights and every year I have
shown MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS. The truth is you can't do a St. Louis Movie
Series and not show this movie. So this year I decided to do it on the spot
( or as near as I can get to ) where the World Fair took place.
