Unfortunately, the plans for a coffee shop at Minnesota and Arsenal have been put on hold for the time being.  One of the parties involved decided to go another direction.  (Made me especially sad, as I'm right against the building.  :(  )

The owner of the property is still interested in having a coffee shop in the building, however, and they maintain an interest in helping the neighborhood to grow.  Their plans for the Bavarian Inn are very exciting indeed.  

If anyone is interested in opening a coffee shop, or knows of someone else who might be into the idea, please let him know.  His name is Chris, and he and his wife own Gelatoria on South Grand (next door to Pho Grand).  You can often find them there.  (The gelato, btw, is first-rate stuff.)
