Hi neighbors,
   
  Last night a car sped through the alley on the 3500 block of Humphrey (south), slammed into a trash dumpster, dragging it about 1/4 of a block down the alley, and then crashed into my garage, knocking the garage door onto my parked car. As a result I need a new garage door, will need to replace the opening mechanism and have autobody work done on my one-year old car. I didn't stumble upon this mess until this morning. I remember hearing a loud noise last night at about 11pm, but didn't see anything when I checked outside. The person that caused the damage left the scene and surprisingly (grin) didn't leave a note. From the look of the scene, their car must have sustained a lot of damage. There was a lot of shattered glass and car pieces that weren't from my car.
   
  If anyone saw or heard anything, please let me know.
