Calling all Day of Love Volunteers!  Come and have fun celebrating the successes of Roosevelt High School on Friday, May 16.  We’ve got some people signed up to help, but we’re always looking for more!  The administrators, students, and teachers are very excited that members of the community are coming to help celebrate on Friday, May 16.  Here’s the kind of help we need for that day:
   
  ·         People to arrive early, around 8:00 to help set up and clean up the field for the event.  
  ·         People to help supervise and organize some of the games throughout the day.  They are planning on having flag football, soccer, volleyball, kickball, softball/baseball, frisbee, three-legged race, jump rope, card games, and chess available.  
  ·         People to help with face painting.  
  ·         People to help pack up and clean up, starting around 1:30 
   
  Besides the set-up and clean up shifts, we’ll have the following volunteer time slots available:
  ·         11-12
  ·         12-1
  ·         1-2
   
  12:00- 12:30 will be reserved time for guest speakers and other honored guests that will be attending the BBQ.  We will not need any volunteers to help serve food.  Only cafeteria staff will be serving food due to health code concerns.
   
  The school will provide all materials and instructions necessary for volunteering, so all you need to do is show up, grab some food, and enjoy being with the kids.  It should prove to be a fun day.
