This was sent to me from the beat officer in the 4th District,  which
includes Lafayette Square, please be careful if you are having any cable or
Dish Network installation being done in your homes.

Recently, one of our residents had cable installed from Dish Network.  They
sent a crew, who installed the cable while the resident was away from the
house.  The resident noticed money and jewelry missing, and contacted Dish
Network.  The company initially advised they would make restitution, however
later rescinded their offer and told the resident they were not responsible
for the actions of their employees, while they are left alone inside
residential homes installing cable.   I wanted to send a message out to the
neighborhood to be careful about having services installed while away from
your home.
